In late July of 2017 I set off with the crew from Denver's Friends of Mine and Otterbox for a 27 day, 'round the world shoot, tracking a single iPhone being used by 7 individual people in 7 separate cities around the world. Each city was a new user, a new Otterbox case and a new story to tell. With only 2 to 3 days in each city, it was a constant hustle to get through customs, feel out the locations and meet talent; making for one of the most fun months of work I've had in a long time!
In July of 2017 ROOT Sports rebranded to AT&T Sports Networks. Pinto Pictures helped in the effort, producing live action spots for the network. Our goal was to show the emotional connection fans share to amazing moments in baseball.
With the help of the client we isolated key plays from the current season for the Rockies, Astros and Pirates and developed scenes that highlight all the feels one gets watching your favorite team pull off the win in dramatic fashion.
Every job presents challenges. For these spots we had to create custom versions for the Denver, Houston, and Pittsburgh regions! Every shot was repeated with wardrobe and set design changes.
Overall, a job well done by a talented and inspired team!

December 2016 was a wild close to a crazy year. Capping it off was being asked by Forbes Magazine to film Von Miller of the Denver Broncos for their "30 under 30" issue. With help from local filmmaker, Shaun Boyte, we went down to the practice field in Centenial, CO set up a dolly, sticks and a gimbal and humbly waited for the 40 minutes of allotted time we were to get with Mr. Miller. It was quick and fun; just like all shoots should be!
Anyway, the piece dropped today and I'm psyched on how it turned out!
