Photography and Filmmaking team Adam Bove and Kate Rolston have worked on a number of commercial campaigns both as individuals and as partners. In the past year they have collaborated on nearly all of their projects, so coming together as an official "team" was a natural next step. As a pair they bring the creative direction, vision and skills needed to see a project through from start to finish; working seamlessly as a photographer & filmmaker, director & DP or simply as two shooters on a photography or film project. Their approach, style and skill set complement each other to offer more value and more content to their clients.
~ For Visit Denver we would work in tandem with Adam as director/dp and Kate as photographer. ~
Adam's Showreel is a compilation of commercial, narrative and doc style work. It showcases a collection of imagery from pieces he has either directed, DP'd, or in many cases acted as both director and DP.
A sample of Kate Rolston's work capturing authentic moments of people enjoying life. Most of these photographs are from commercial tourism shoots around Colorado using real people and real families as models.

The CU Denver commercial spot is a nice example of run and gun shooting in an urban environment, showing real people interacting and having fun. Locations had been scouted, but blocking and interaction was done on the fly with real students and real teachers having legitimate interactions.
30 sec broadcast spot for Copper Mountain. The idea going into the shoot was to utilize real people and real families in predetermined locations around Copper Mountain.
Yve Assad for Red Wing Heritage. We shot this piece in Nashville, TN for Red Wing Heritage. The approach we took was very much a documentary one. We sat down with Yve, a photographer by trade, to discuss her approach to shooting, her passion for motorcycles and ultimately, to see what inspires her. The resulting video and imagery was fun and authentic. Shot over two days with real people in and around Nashville.
Union Studio Metals is a project that required photo and video to work simultaneously; Adam was director/dp and Kate shot the still imagery. The shoot was very much run and gun; locations had been scouted but no scenes had been blocked out. Working together we were able to get our talent to show off the jewelry in as many settings as possible in the small window of time we were allotted. (See Below)
The Rocky Mountain Table Company brand piece is another project in which Adam and Kate shot stills and video simultaneously.
Below is a handful of videos that have a brighter feel to them. Some have urban settings, others are countryside feels.
